Dynasafe, the global market leader in the disposal of unexploded ordnance and other hazardous materials announced today that Tom Krumpholz has been appointed as Managing Director of the newly established Dynasafe Marine Services GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, and will lead the company's activities in the fast growing Marine Area Clearance segment in Germany.

Dynasafe’s Static Detonation Chamber has been selected for the destruction of mustard munitions; part of the chemical weapons stockpile currently in storage at the Blue Grass Army Depot, in Kentucky USA.

 

Site preparation and construction of the state of the art Blue Grass Chemical Agent Destruction Plant progresses, however the fabrication and the testing of the actual unit is conducted overseas. The Dynasafe Static detonation Chamber is expected to be shipped and to arrive at the Blue Grass Plant around August 2015.

Dynasafe Demil Systems AB, with head-quarters in Karlskoga Sweden, part of Dynasafe group of companies, has secured its first "turn-key" contract for the installation, and required infrastructure, for a Static Detonator Chamber 1200C (SDC), with the Belgium Ministry of Defence. This 16.8 million euro contract was finalized on December 23rd 2014 and commissioning will be in 2016.

January 6, 2015 – Reston Virginia – Dynasafe US LLC  today announced that its DynaSEALR X 10 and DynaSEALR X 12 total containment vessels have received approval from the Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB).

On Tuesday, 17th May, Dynasafe Protection, attended at the Eurosatory 2014 exhibition in Paris; in cooperation with Bofors Test Centre in Sweden, they initiated a LIVE, REAL TIME EXPLOSIONS from the stand!


The 150 invited guests witnessed firstly the detonation of 8kg TNT under a car and then a further detonation of 8kg TNT in a Dynasafe Chamber.

The Stockholm National Bombsquad picked up yet another DynaSEALR bomb chamber in Karlskoga, on September 30 2013. The Stockholm team have worked with explosion containment chambers from Dynasafe since 20 years. Now the capacity is further increased, with an additional DynaSEALR chamber. Dynasafe Protection Systems thank the National Bombsquad for the continued confidence and the good cooperation.

The Jacksonville International Airport was shut down for nearly five hours on Oct 01, when the police had found two suspicious packages. One of the packages was deemed "destructive", and was removed by a DynaSEALR X-series chamber to be deactivated offsite by a bomb squad.
