Title: Quality Manager
Entity: Dynasafe Group
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to the Group CEO
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, revise and maintain company quality standards in accordance with ISO 9001Certification
  • Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to proactively implement improvements
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety and legal requirements
  • Conduct quality audits to verify compliance with quality policies and procedures
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of quality assurance personnel to ensure an effective workforce
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
  • Organize training for quality assurance staff to enhance their skill and knowledge of productquality requirements
  • Assist external quality auditors in coordinating on-site audits
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products from suppliers and monitor their compliance
  • Verify that all final inspections are in accordance with the specified requirements
  • Verify that receipt inspections are done to ensure material or subcomponents meet the required specifications or are properly documented and rejected
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis as required
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Submit detailed written and / or oral reports
  • Travel, domestically and internationally as required
  • Additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience as quality manager
  • 5+ years quality management experience
  • Conscientious and responsible
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Excellent math skills and working knowledge of data analysis / statistical methods
  • BS / BA in Business, Engineering or relevant field
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

 

Physical Demands:

 

Work Environment:

The primary work environment is an office environment. However, work can also be performed at sub-supplier or customer facilities. Position requires employee to effectively use a computer at a work station for extended periods of time and to accommodate potentially frequent interruptions.
 
Schedule:
 
Dynasafe business hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our standard work hours may vary based upon contract requirements. Additional hours may be required during peak times, requiring an adjusted work schedule and evening / weekend hours to meet deadlines.
